The Department of Civil Procedure focuses on research and teaching, particularly in the areas of civil procedure, non-contentious proceedings, enforcement proceedings, insolvency proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.

Your duties will include:

  • participating in teaching at the department,
  • preparing study and teaching materials, preparing written tests and exams,
  • participation in research activities, including contributions to publications,
  • helping to organise research and teaching activities, including related administrative tasks.

We require:

  • a completed Master’s degree from a law faculty, specialising in Law,
  • an interest in the field of civil and procedural law, demonstrated by specific achievements (academic record, publications, presentations at seminars and conferences),
  • teaching aptitude;
  • aptitude for independent scientific and research work,
  • the ability to teach and publish in Czech and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage,
  • publication record in the field,
  • good character,
  • information regarding the employee’s other employment relationships within the meaning of Section 70 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions, as amended.
