R&D Specialist – Nanofiber Materials (Full-time or Part-time)

We’re looking for a motivated and versatile R&D Specialist to become part of our applied research team and help us shape the future of nanomaterials.
Who we are
We are an agile, innovation-driven start-up working at the crossroads of material science, chemistry, and nanotechnology. Our lab is located in InnoCrystal – Prague Innovation Center, just 20 minutes from Opatov (Metro C) and 5 minutes from BIOCEV in Vestec.
What you’ll do
As part of our R&D team, you will:
- Design and optimize polymeric solutions for nanofiber production
- Develop nanofiber materials using Nanospider™ technology
- Characterize material properties (morphology, structure, functionality)
- Test material performance (e.g. antimicrobial activity, filtration efficiency)
- Conduct background research and literature reviews
- Document and analyze experimental results
- Contribute to R&D reports, publications, and future project proposals
What you bring
Hard skills:
- Degree in polymer or physical chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or similar
- 3+ years of R&D experience (PhD research included)
- Hands-on lab experience is a must
- Strong background in chemistry
- Familiarity with electrospinning / nanofiber fabrication is a plus
- Scientific writing skills
- Solid PC skills: Origin, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- English – minimum B1/B2
