The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of advanced real-time methods of determining the structure of materials, such as diffraction methods and acoustic emission. Knowledge and experience with microstructure characterization methods, including scanning electron microscopy and backscattered electron diffraction. Advanced knowledge in the theoretical description of deformation processes using elastoplastic models. Ph.D. in the relevant field. Professional experience in the given field, a positive attitude towards pedagogical work, the ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching, and managing student work. Constant publication activity in the given field. The condition is the completion of a postdoctoral stay abroad of a minimum duration of 36 months. The applicant should be able to teach in both Czech and English.

  • Physics of materials, especially methods of determining the structure of materials in real time and theoretical description of deformation processes.
