Job description: reading lectures for the specialisation Japanese studies (at bachelor’s and master’s level) participation in teaching doctoral students participation in entrance and state examinations supervision and opposing of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses participation in scientific activities of the institute development of own research and creative activities, regular publishing activities administrative activities – participation in the operation of the institute salary classification AP2 / AP3 – AP2 – CZK 39,000 per month / AP3 – CZK 46,000 per month

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Based on the committee’s decision, either all applicants or selected applicants only will be invited to the second round of the competition, i.e. an interview.

Qualifications

  • university degree, Ph.D. / AP3 – docent, or comparable education abroad graduate in Japanese studies specialization in Japanese history and society relevant publications relevant teaching skills and experience knowledge of Japanese and English at least at C1 level knowledge of Czech at least at B2 level
