The Department of Administrative Studies and Administrative Law is a department of the Faculty of Law of MU, which carries out educational and scientific research activities in both of these areas, i.e. administrative law, and traditionally also administrative studies. In the field of teaching, it mainly provides teaching of compulsory subjects in the whole scope of administrative law, i.e. its general and special parts, especially in the Master’s programme Law and Legal Science, the follow-up Master’s programme Public Administration and also in Bachelor’s programmes, as well as teaching of a number of compulsory elective subjects focused on particular areas or topics falling within the framework of administrative law in the national and European environment, and also in the field of administrative studies.

Your job will include:

  • participating in the teaching of the subjects implemented at the workplace (in particular the general and special part, administrative procedural law, and also selected topics in the field of administrative studies),
  • preparation of study and teaching materials, including electronic ones,
  • involvement in research activities, including participation in publications,
  • participation in the organisational support of research and teaching activities, including related administration.

Required:

  • master’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law,
  • qualified interest in the field of Administrative Law and Public Administration,
  • pedagogical focus on administrative law,
  • pedagogical aptitude, possibly practical teaching experience,
  • aptitude for independent scientific and research activities,
  • ability to teach and publish in Czech and English, knowledge of German an advantage,
  • moral integrity,
  • information on the employee’s future employment relationship within the meaning of §70 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Universities, as amended.
