Job Responsibilities: Teaching: Active involvement in teaching courses offered by the Department of Physics of Materials, including preparation and delivery of lectures, seminars, and laboratory exercises. Contribution to the development of teaching methods and educational materials. Research Activities: Participation in solving current scientific challenges within the department. Engagement in research projects, including grant proposal preparation, experimental work, and data analysis. Publication Activities: Regular publication of research results in peer-reviewed journals, presentation at scientific conferences, and collaboration with national and international research institutions

Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in microstructure characterization methods, including the operation and data analysis of scanning electron microscopy, electron backscatter diffraction, and energy dispersive spectroscopy. Skilled in the interpretation and analysis of transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction results. Experienced in advanced thermal analysis techniques such as DSC, dilatometry, electrical resistivity measurements, and related methods. Ph.D. in a relevant field. Professional experience in the corresponding area, a positive attitude toward teaching, and the ability to integrate research activities with education. Consistent publication activity in the field. A postdoctoral research stay abroad of at least six months is required. Experience in supervising students (master’s theses, student research projects). The candidate should be able to teach in both Czech and English.
