Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team in Prague. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and automate UI tests for our Windows Forms application. You’ll have the freedom to choose the frameworks and tools that best suit the task, giving you the opportunity to apply your skills and experiment with modern test automation technologies.
What you will do?
- Analyse the current Windows Forms application and identify key UI components for automated testing.
- Design and implement automated UI test scripts.
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
- Ensure test coverage for key user flows and edge cases.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (if applicable).
- Document the testing approach, tools used and provide guidelines for future use.
What you will need?
- Experience with programming in C#, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and UI automation.
- Familiarity with Windows desktop applications (Windows Forms a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of automation tools such as TestStack White, FlaUI, WinAppDriver, or similar.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Previous experience with CI/CD environments.
