What will you do 

  • Apply for research projects involving researchers of the department
  • Combine magnetism with structural and mechanical studies
  • Organize the work, guide junior researchers and publish results of research projects
  • Keep up to date and further develop the research group experimental equipment and methods with the help of research group members.
  • Form potentially own research group

Who we look for 

  • Ph.D. in physics of solid state (condensed matter systems) and/or materials science in specialization on magnetic solids
  • Principal investigator of at least two national or international research projects
  • Strong publishing record from previous research work
  • Communicative team player, problem-solving ability, working independently
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills in English, creativity and analytical thinking, open-minded person
  • Eagerness to introduce new topics and to work with students
