What will you do
- Apply for research projects involving researchers of the department
- Combine magnetism with structural and mechanical studies
- Organize the work, guide junior researchers and publish results of research projects
- Keep up to date and further develop the research group experimental equipment and methods with the help of research group members.
- Form potentially own research group
Who we look for
- Ph.D. in physics of solid state (condensed matter systems) and/or materials science in specialization on magnetic solids
- Principal investigator of at least two national or international research projects
- Strong publishing record from previous research work
- Communicative team player, problem-solving ability, working independently
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in English, creativity and analytical thinking, open-minded person
- Eagerness to introduce new topics and to work with students
