Overview

The research focuses on the study of the mechanical properties of advanced metallic materials and their interaction with hydrogen, particularly in relation to the safety and durability of structural components designed for hydrogen transport and storage. The research activities include the development and application of experimental methods for mechanical testing, including in-situ testing in hydrogen environments, as well as the analysis of degradation phenomena (e.g., hydrogen embrittlement).

Measurement of mechanical properties of materials (tensile, compression, bending, fatigue, etc.);
Evaluation and processing of collected data, preparation of technical reports and scientific publications;
Development of new measurement methods;
Participation in scientific conferences and professional meetings;
Active presentation of research and development results;
Work on the R&D project TS02030257 – Innovative material concepts for the treatment of the inner wall of pressure vessels for the safe and efficient transport and storage of hydrogen;
Solving assignments in the field of mechanical testing;
Communication and negotiations with clients.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in technology or science;
• knowledge of MS Office, ability to independently create technical documentation (technical conditions, material standards, reports, etc.);
• communicative knowledge of English;
• responsibility, independence, flexibility;
• enthusiasm for work and learning new skills.

Advantage:
• experience in performing and evaluating material tests;
• overview in materials standards;
• experience with heat treatment of metallic materials, metallurgy, etc.;
• orientation in funding programs of national and international projects.
