Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences is preparing the construction of a new large-scale physical experiment for the research of thermonuclear fusion (tokamak) and is looking for developers to develop an experiment control system and systems for physical data acquisition.

Job description

  • software development for experiment control system and data acquisition systems
  • software testing
  • cooperation with diagnosticians on development
  • integration of individual control systems into common tokamak control system
  • creation of technical documentation

Required education

  • master degree in electrical engineering, IT

Knowledge and skills

  • knowledge of C/C++
  • development under Linux and Windows
  • experience with optimization

Required languages

  • English (upper-intermediate)
  • The advantage is knowledge of Python, Java
