Application Instructions
Application, which you can download here https://natur.cuni.cz/en/faculty/official-board/selection-procedures, with cover letter, curriculum vitae, list of publications, diplomas, research and teaching statement, must be send within 30 days from the announcement of the tender to the e-mail address: volnamista@natur.cuni.cz with subject “Výběrové řízení.”
If a candidate applies for more than one position, you must submit a separate application form for each selected position.
In justified cases, e.g., if the applicant completes his doctoral studies in the period between the submission of the application and the date of starting the employment relationship, the applicant must provide proof of the completed doctoral studies before signing the employment contract.
Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited for an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should: Hold a Ph.D. in plant biology or a related field (or be close to completion) Demonstrate motivation, curiosity, and a proactive approach to research Be able to work both independently and collaboratively Have experience relevant to plant root biology or a closely related area Show willingness to develop new skills and research directions Previous postdoctoral experience is most welcome. Candidates with a clear interest in developing their own research profile are especially encouraged to apply. A growing degree of independence is expected, and an interest in contributing to the future development and shaping the future direction of the research group is considered an advantage.
