Charles University, Faculty of Science at BIOCEV is announcing an open position for a full-time Junior Researcher/Postdoctoral fellow in group of Cancer Cell Invasiveness.

We are seeking to recruit a post-doctoral fellow with experience in cell biology, live cell imaging and high-throughput analyses of cell behavior (migration, invasion). The successful candidate will work on independent project focusing on plasticity of cancer cell invasion and potential for targeting plasticity and invasion using migrastatic drugs. For this position, we are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven track record of success, and potential to write independent project.


  • PhD in relevant field (cell biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry …)
  • Publication activity in the field
  • Ability to actively participate in a research program
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork

We offer

2-year contract with possibility for extension. Potential for pursuing academic career


The project will be conducted in a stimulating and highly interdisciplinary and international environment in a newly established research facility BIOCEV near Prague in Czech Republic.
