PhD scholarship

We at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences (IIC CAS) are forming a new research team dedicated to main group synthesis and catalysis and we are searching for new members to work on interdisciplinary project devoted to reactivity of highly Lewis acidic boron cations as sensors, small molecule activators and catalysts.

The researcher will be responsible for design, synthesis and characterization of boron compounds and contribute to ongoing project at IIC CAS. During the course, the applicant will master advanced synthetic methods, handling air-sensitive compounds using Schlenk techniques and glovebox including its characterization and evaluation as promising materials for molecular sensing and catalysis.
