The HiLASE Centre is focused on the technological development of a new generation of diode-pumped lasers with a wide range of applications for scientific and industrial applications. HiLASE helps companies innovatively solve their needs and problems using globally unique laser technologies.

What’s going to fill your calendar:

  • Laser-induced damage testing and development of technologies based on laser ablation, particularly for area of semiconductor industry
  • Design and assembly of optical setups, data sorting and organization, publication, metrology
  • Work on national and international research and development projects
  • Cooperation with industrial partners
  • Results presentation at conferences, publications

Your skills and technical capabilities are:

  • Finishing Ph.D. or postdoc
  • Experience with experimental research
  • Self-dependent, keen for new technologies and willingness to learn
  • Teamwork, sharing experience and team members‘ guidance
  • Drive and focus
  • English proficiency
  • Manipulation with laboratory devices and equipment
  • Class IV laser operation
  • Technical documentation understanding

You will receive extra points for these experiences:

  • Experience with high-power lasers, laser optics and thin films
  • Experience with laser ablation
  • Experience with non-linear optics and wavelength conversion
