Academic Staff Member at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of AgriSciences

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Engineering is part of the Faculty of AgriSciences at MENDELU and focuses on educational and research activities in areas such as the operation and use of agricultural technology for livestock breeding, agricultural technology for crop production and plant protection, technology for food processing and feed production, waste technology and environmental engineering, agricultural and industrial buildings, electrical engineering and automation, technical expertise and valuation.

What will be your job role?

  • preparation and teaching of seminars in the fields of electrical engineering, control automation, cybernetics and robotics
  • teaching in both Czech and English
  • preparation and development of materials for educational activities, creation of study materials
  • participation in professional activities related to research carried out at the workplace

What do we expect from you?

  • completed Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Informatics or a related field, and simultaneously commenced studies in a follow-up Master’s technical programme
  • excellent knowledge of Czech and English, with the willingness and ability to teach in both languages
  • experience in teaching at university level, e.g. preparation of electrical engineering laboratory assignments for students
  • professional knowledge and practical experience in electrical engineering, automation, cybernetics and robotics
  • professional competence in electrical engineering in accordance with Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll., required for conducting laboratory classes with students in an electrical engineering laboratory
  • basic practical work experience in the implementation of research projects
  • driver’s license category B (active driver)

What research experience do we require?

  • basic experience in the issue of grant titles for research projects (e.g. participation in research projects of NAZV, TAČR)

Employment contract: for a fixed term of 2 years, until 30 September 2027
