In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University announces opening of the following position with submission deadline June 15, 2025

The position mainly includes teaching Practical Course in School Experiments (for pre-service physics teachers), as well as creating teaching materials and other activities (supervising final theses, further education courses for in-service teachers, etc.). This is a part-time position.

Qualifications

• PhD. in physics education research (or similar field), teaching experience at both university and secondary school levels, experience in promoting physics and physics education, experience in creating and reviewing teaching materials (including textbooks). Knowledge of lower and upper secondary school physics curriculum. The ability to teach in Czech language is assumed.
