Activity description:

  • Participation in research and development projects in the field of automotive engineering.
  • Design, testing, and evaluation of vehicle components and systems.
  • Application of numerical methods (FEM, MBS) to analyze static and dynamic load states.
  • Execution of experimental measurements, data collection, and analysis.
  • Prediction of service life and assessment of fatigue behavior of automotive structures.
  • Preparation of research outputs, including reports, publications, and contributions to conferences.
  • Collaboration with industrial partners on applied research and development.
  • Contribution to the development of testing methodologies and equipment.

Required expertise:

Automotive engineering, vehicle development and testing, or a related field with a strong background in scientific research and publishing.

We require:

  • Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive design solutions, including historical and current technologies and trends.
  • Strong background in numerical simulations (FEM, MBS) and experimental methods.
  • Ability to predict service life and assess fatigue behavior of automotive components.
  • Proven record of scientific publications (peer-reviewed journals with impact factor, international conferences) and commitment to further publishing activities.
  • Experience with the development of testing methodologies and equipment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, independence, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the English language at the min. C1 level.
