In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen of Charles University announces a selection procedure for the following position with submission deadline
February 21, 2026
The selection procedure is being organized jointly by Fakultní nemocnice in Pilsen and the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Pilsen. Written applications accompanied by a structured CV detailing previous experience, a brief concept for the development and management of the institute, officially certified documents proving education, certificate pursuant to Act No. 451/1991 Coll. as amended, and a valid extract from the criminal register must be delivered within 30 days of publication to the following address: Fakultní nemocnice Plzeň – Oddělení personálního řízení a organizace, Edvarda Beneše 1128/13, Plzeň 301 00, e-mail: kariera@fnplzen.cz, tel. 377 402 921.

Qualifications
University degree in medicine Specialized qualification in clinical biochemistry, hematology, or transfusion medicine Achieved academic rank of professor or associate professor in the relevant field or preparation for habilitation with the expectation of achieving it within 3 years Valid license to perform the function of head physician and chief physician in a healthcare facility in the field of clinical biochemistry, or hematology and transfusion medicine at least 10 years of continuous practice in the field after graduation from medical school medical fitness and integrity in accordance with Act No. 95/2004 Coll. as amended organizational and managerial skills experience in leading a healthcare team personal and professional prerequisites for teaching and scientific activity
