Academic Position at the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of AgriSciences

Research Area: agricultural, food, and environmental engineering

The department focuses on technology and its operation in agriculture, waste management technologies, environmental auditing and management, assessment of the technical condition and safety of machines and equipment, risk prevention, valuation, operation of buildings and technological facilities for agriculture and industry, renewable energy, and SMART technologies.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • leadership of the workplace in terms of personnel and financial management
  • coordination of pedagogy, science, and research carried out at the department
  • pedagogical and scientific research activities in the field of agricultural, food, and environmental engineering

What do we expect from you?

  • university education at the Ph.D. level in agricultural, food, and environmental engineering or a related field; associate professor or professor title is an advantage
  • excellent knowledge of the Czech language at the C2 level, knowledge of English and another foreign language is an advantage
  • organizational, managerial, and communication skills
  • ability to work both in a team and independently
  • ability to navigate labor law regulations and economic rules for the management of higher education institutions
  • personal and professional prerequisites for teaching work
  • scientific research and publication activities in one of the specified fields; agricultural, food, and
  • environmental engineering or a related field, experience in publishing in journals with IF
  • willingness to work on further personal development and qualification growth
  • clean criminial record
