In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen of Charles University, together with the University Hospital in Pilsen, announces a selection procedure for the following position with submission deadline

Educational certificates must be submitted with an official certification.
The candidate is required to submit a brief proposal outlining the clinic’s development and management.

Qualifications

A university degree in medicine Specialized qualification in internal medicine Academic rank of professor or associate professor in the relevant field, or preparation for habilitation with the expectation of completion within 3 years At least 10 years of continuous practice in the field following graduation from medical school Organizational and managerial skills Experience leading a healthcare team Personal and professional qualifications for teaching and research

Required Documents

  • structured CV
  • education credentials, proof of academic degrees and ranks
  • an outline of the department’s development concept
  • Criminal record extract
  • Licensed by the ČLK to perform the functions of chief physician and primary physician in the field
  • Evidence of specialisation competence
  • certificate and affidavit pursuant to § 2 and § 4 of the Act. 451/1991 Coll. (lustration certificate)
