Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions

for the project Pre-application research of drugs for oncological diseases and for the prevention and treatment of serious complications caused by them (OncoPharm),
project ID CZ.02.01.01/00/23_021/0008442,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

FaF_VZ3_23: PhD Student , 0,1 FTE (10 %),

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • independently carries out experimental scientific research activities in the field of pathobiochemistry and xenobiochemistry – cardiotoxicity of anticancer drugs,
  • presents and publishes the obtained results internationally,
  • participates in key project activities with emphasis on application potential.

Profile:

  • scientific and publishing activity in the field of pharmaceutical sciences,
  • education and MSc in a field with a focus on pharmaceutical or medical sciences,
  • active knowledge of English language at a minimum B2 level

Other knowledge and skills:

  • Prerequisites for excellent research work
  • Flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High level of work commitment
  • Strong willingness to learn new things continuously

The estimated monthly wage: 35 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 01 November 2024, can be negotiated

Type of employment contract: for 1-3 years, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 30 September 2027.

Employment: part-time (0.1 FTE).
