The position is financed by the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM, Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607, within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Comenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

“This project, No. CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607: New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM, is co-financed by the European Union.”

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring professional operation, servicing, functioning and maintenance of the instrumentation necessary for the implementation of the project’s research activities, especially the SONY flow cytometer/analyzer and the SONY sorter, as well as the -170°C freezer.
  • Ensuring the operation, order and instrument logs of the instruments in laboratory 2404 (or in the MEPHARED campus laboratory).
  • Technical support for the security of experimental work, assistance to students and staff.
  • Communicating with service organizations and ensuring the smooth operation of the instruments in Lab 2404.
  • Participation in the key activities of the project, the job is not to carry out research but to help operate the instruments.
The estimated monthly wage: 50 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 July 2026, or can be negotiated

Type of employment contract: for 1year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.

Employment: part-time (0.20 FTE)

Qualifications

Profile: Secondary school education (higher education and experience in the field is an advantage). Active knowledge of the English language. Previous experience with SONY cytometers and analyzers is an advantage. Other knowledge and skills: Prerequisites for technical/laboratory work Flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility Good organizational and communication skills Ability to work both independently and in a team High level of work commitment Strong willingness to learn new things continuously
