“This project, No. CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607: New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM, is co-financed by the European Union.”
- Independent performance of the research activities in the relevant field.
- Design and management of work, planning and conducting experiments for WP2, publishing scientific results.
- Implementation and application of in vitro/ex vivo research methods with the aim of development of novel drugs and investigation of the mechanism of action.
- Experimental work with isolated enzymes, biological cell material and laboratory animals.
- Monitoring of interaction of tested compounds with organism at different levels from molecular level to animal experiments.
- Mathematical processing of the results.
- Performing parametric and non-parametric statistical analyses.
- Interpretation of data considering the possibility of its extrapolation to humans and developing application potential.
- Presentation and publication of the achieved results on an international level.
- Involvement in the preparation of related national and international projects.
- Participation in key project activities with an emphasis on application potential.

Qualifications
Profile: A researcher who is no more than 7 years beyond the award of his/her academic Ph.D. or its equivalent (ISCED level 8 equivalent). Completed university doctoral studies (Ph.D. degree) in a field of biomedical specialization at a university in the Czech Republic or achieved a comparable degree at a foreign university no later than on the date of employment. Junior researcher H-index ≥ 5 (is an advantage), recommended min. 2 first-authored peer-reviewed publications (preferably with IF ≥ 3), letter of recommendation from 2 experts in the field (at least 1 from a foreign institution), required education in the relevant field of research, experiences with grant application(s) is an advantage, active knowledge of English language. Scientific and publication activity in the field of pharmacology, toxicology and/or biochemistry. Experience with in vitro/ex vivo testing of effects of compounds at different levels (isolated enzymes, cell cultures, isolated blood cells and animal models). Previous experience in pharmacology, toxicology and/or biochemistry is an advantage. Education and PhD degree in a biomedical field related to biopharmaceutical research is an advantage.
