“This project, No. CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607: New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM, is co-financed by the European Union.”
- Independent performance of the research activities in the relevant field.
- Design, organization of work, planning and execution of experiments for VZ2 (WP2) – pharmacology and toxicology.
- Introduction and application of in vitro methods for testing and development of new substances, laboratory work with cell cultures, tissues and animal models.
- Monitoring interactions of test molecules with the organism at different levels – in silico, in vitro, ex vivo, in situ and in vivo.
- Performing parametric and non-parametric statistical analyses.
- Interpretation of data with regard to the possibilities of extrapolation to humans and development of application potential.
- Expert mentoring of PhD students.
- Presentation and publication of the achieved results on an international level.
- Involvement in the preparation of related national and international projects.
- Participation in key project activities with an emphasis on application potential.

Qualifications
Profile: Junior researcher (postdoc position): a researcher who is no more than 7 years beyond the award of his/her academic PhD or its equivalent (ISCED level 8 equivalent). Completion of a university doctoral degree (PhD) in a biomedical field at a university in the Czech Republic or achieved a comparable degree at a foreign university no later than on the date of employment. H-index ≥ 5. At least 3 first-authored publications (preferably with IF ≥ 5) in a high-quality foreign scientific journal of biomedical interest. Letter of recommendation from 2 experts in the field (at least 1 from a foreign institution). Active knowledge of the English language in written and oral form. Scientific and publication activity in the field of reproductive biology/pharmacology and/or placentology is an advantage. Experience in scientific work on cell and tissue culture. Experience with experimental work on oocytes is an advantage.
