Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions

for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,
Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

NETPHARM – FaF_VZ1_90: Technical Officer, 0,2 FTE (20 %),

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • The technician performs measurements on Jeol 600 MHz and Varian 500 MHz spectrometers.
  • The technician is responsible for the operation of both spectrometers which includes in particular the refillment of cryoliquids and  regular control of the operation of the instruments.
  • The technician stores the measured data in the specified storage and communicates with individual research teams.
  • The technician handles requests for special types of measurements and plans the rational use of machine time in accordance with these requirements.
  • Immediate escalation of any identified risks to a superior position.
  • Communication with the NETPHARM project team.

Profile:

  • Completed university doctoral studies (PhD degree) in the field of pharmaceutical or chemical sciences at a university in the Czech Republic or obtaining a comparable degree at a foreign university, by no later than the first day of the appointment.
  • Thorough knowledge and previous practical activity (measurement) on the above types of spectrometers is necessary.

  • Flexibility, diligence and responsibility
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High level of work commitment

The estimated monthly wage: 50 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 July 2024

Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.

Employment: part-time (0.1 FTE)
