for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

FaF_VZ1_34: PhD Student, 0,2 FTE (20 %),

Place of work: Hradec Králové


  • Carry out experimental research activities in a relevant field under the guidance of a mentor,
  • planning and conducting experiments, publishing scientific results,
  • chemical synthesis of potential topoisomerase II inhibitors from the bisdioxopiperazine group,
  • chemical synthesis of potential modulators of nuclear receptors from the group of 2-substituted propionic acids,
  • presentation and publication of the obtained results on an international level,
  • participation in key activities of the project with emphasis on application potential.


  • Preferably authorship of a publication in the field of bioorganic or pharmaceutical chemistry.
  • Active knowledge of the English language.
  • Master’s degree in pharmacy or chemistry.
  • Scientific activity in the field of bioorganic and pharmaceutical chemistry.
  • Experience in the synthesis of potential topoisomerase II inhibitors from the bisdioxopiperazine group.

  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High level of work commitment

The estimated monthly wage: 45 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 July 2024

Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.
