Prague City University is seeking a colleague to fill a newly open position of Erasmus+ Administrator and EU Grant Application Writer.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage Erasmus+ funding programmes and write grant applications for EU funding opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in securing financial support for international educational exchange activities and initiatives, ensuring compliance with EU requirements, and advancing the PCU’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Erasmus+ Administration:
- Administer Erasmus+ funded programmes, ensuring compliance with programme guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Manage the application and selection process for Erasmus grants, including organising review committees and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, students, and staff to facilitate the successful execution of Erasmus exchange programmes.
2. EU Grant Application Writing:
- Research and identify EU funding opportunities that align with thePCU’s objectives and priorities.
- Develop comprehensive grant proposals in response to EU calls for proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of project concepts and budget requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant experts, partners and stakeholders to gather information and inputs for grant proposals.
3. Budget Management:
- Create and manage budgets for Erasmus-funded programmes and EU grant projects, ensuring accurate financial planning and tracking.
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to monitor the allocation of funds and compliance with financial regulations.
4. Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to the relevant authorities for both Erasmus and EU grant-funded projects.
- Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements, financial guidelines, and project milestones.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and project partners.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and potential partners to identify opportunities for cooperation and funding.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant proposal writing, especially for Erasmus+ funding or other EU funding programs is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- University degree (ideally in a related field).
