Přehled
The Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC (ELI ERIC) is the world’s largest and most advanced high-power laser research infrastructure. As a unique international user facility, ELI ERIC provides access to state-of-the-art high-power, high-repetition-rate laser systems for pioneering research and breakthrough technological innovation across multiple scientific disciplines.
ELI ERIC operates as a single multi-site organization with two complementary facilities:
- ELI Beamlines in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic
- ELI ALPS in Szeged, Hungary
The ELI Beamlines Facility hosts four cutting-edge high-power femtosecond laser systems that generate unique sources of X-rays and accelerated particles. These systems enable groundbreaking experiments in physics, chemistry, materials science, life sciences, and laboratory astrophysics and fusion. The facility is home to a vibrant, international team of over 350 researchers, engineers, and professionals from more than 38 countries.
