Job description:
In addition to teaching, scientific and publishing activities in the field, the job will also include professional work for the Czech National Corpus infrastructure, especially research aimed at improving its applications and services. Programming experience is therefore an advantage.

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Based on the committee’s decision, either all applicants or selected applicants only will be invited to the second round of the competition, i.e. an interview.

Qualifications

Associate professor (or eqivalent) in a linguistic field. We require good knowledge of statistics, high-quality publication record, active knowledge of English and at least one other language, and the ability to teach in both Czech and English.
