In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University announces opening of the following position with submission deadline April 20, 2026

Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Analysis – teaching for approximately 6-8 hours per week, scientific work and supervision of student theses.

Qualifications

Associate professor or its equivalent in the given area, publication record in relevant periodicals, ability to integrate scientific and pedagogical work, including the supervision of student theses, proven ability to obtain grant funds. Basic command of Czech language (possibly after three years period) is required.
