Qualifications

  • A strong international research record in stochastic thermodynamics, non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, and active matter. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, high-level research, integrating theoretical models with experimental applications. Proven track record in securing research funding, publishing in top-tier journals, and fostering international collaborations. Extensive experience in mentoring students and contributing to the scientific community through editorial or peer-review activities. Established expertise in developing and leading innovative research projects aligned with the Department’s focus, delivering lectures in both undergraduate and graduate courses in Czech and English, supervising theses at all academic levels, engaging with interdisciplinary and international research networks, and making significant contributions to the Department’s academic growth and administration.
