Job description:
  • Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, and related fields, with teaching responsibilities in both the Czech and English-language psychology programs.
  • Teaching courses in developmental psychology, educational psychology, and teacher education at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
  • Teaching in both Czech and English study programs
  • Participation in the department’s administrative and organizational activities
  • Participation in the Erasmus program
  • Grant, publication, and research activities
  • Other teaching, research, and organizational activities corresponding to the AP1 position according to the current career regulations of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Qualifications

Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, and related fields. Completed a master’s degree in psychology. Currently studying for a doctorate in psychology or a related field – expected completion of doctoral studies no later than 2027. Ability to teach in both Czech and English Publication record and citations in Web of Science (WoS) required Grant experience preferred
