  • creative application of scientific research results in the pedagogical activity of the Department
  • independent research activity and grant application activity
  • participation in committees, advising students, and evaluation of students’ papers and theses

Qualifications

completed university education with a Ph.D. degree focus on game studies, player studies, representation and ideology in games, and research methodology at least two years of teaching experience in the field of media studies at a university, a track record of independent research on the level that allows for application for habilitation within around 5 years experience with submitting grant applications excellent active knowledge of spoken and written English and the ability to lecture in English, native-level knowledge of Czech

  • Expertise in game studies and player studies, with a focus on the analysis of representation, ideology, and gender in games, as well as research methodology
