In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen of Charles University announces a selection procedure for the following position with submission deadline
July 29, 2026
- Independent management and execution of complex research or development tasks, with outcomes published in peer-reviewed journals, scientific monographs, or peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
- Participation in the organizational support and coordination of research and educational activities.
- Participation in the delivery of lectures and implementation of other forms of teaching within Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, including lifelong learning programs.
- Supervision and instruction of students during practical training sessions.
- Assessment and evaluation of students’ academic progress.

Qualifications
Requirements: Completed university education in a degree program in the natural sciences or medicine. A Ph.D. degree in a doctoral study program in the natural sciences. Active scientific research activity; publication record, experience in conducting research projects, and participation in grant-funded projects are considered an advantage. Aptitude for teaching; experience in teaching a theoretical subject at a medical or science faculty is considered an advantage. Proficiency in English at a minimum level of B2; teaching activities are expected to be carried out in English.
