Job description Teaching of core courses and elective seminars. Supervision of student theses, esp. at the B.A. and M.A. level Evaluation and examination of studies, participation in final examinations. Research activity, publishing scholarly publications. Sharing administrative duties in the Department of Germanic Studies. Salary tariff (grade AP2): CZK 19,500 per month

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in the Swedish Language or in another relevant philological major. Excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, knowledge of other languages will be an advantage. Orientation in the linguistics of contemporary Swedish, especially in morphology, syntax, lexicology and corpus linguistics. Strong professional profile and motivation to further develop it. Organisational skills.
