We are the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings of the CTU based in Buštěhrad near Kladno. We connect science with the commercial sphere and bring new solutions to the market that help our users to be one step ahead in technology. Our passion is buildings, cities, energy, environment, innovation and sustainability. We focus on applied research and development in grant projects and contract work for companies.

We are looking for a new colleague to analyse business opportunities in the energy sector for our research department.

Job description

  • Identification and mapping of stakeholders in the provision of new services in the energy sector
  • Identification and modelling of new business cases in the energy sector
  • Evaluating the financial efficiency and other KPIs of individual solutions throughout their lifecycle based on data and analytical models

Awaiting

  • Higher education
  • Orientation in the operation of energy commodity and emission allowance markets in the energy sector
  • Knowledge of the energy market trading process (important players, legal limits, ways to optimise returns, financial flows)
  • Orientation in current trends in the provision of emerging services in the energy sector (flexibility aggregation, active customer, community energy, sector-coupeling, etc.)
  • Insight into new business opportunities in the energy transformation
  • Ability to communicate professionally in written and spoken English
  • Initiative and creativity
  • Ability to generate ideas and translate them into national and international project plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You know how to establish and develop contacts with partners in the Czech Republic and abroad
