Job description:
In accordance with the UJEP Employee Work Regulations – Rector’s Directive No. 2/2019

Qualification requirements:

Required education in the field at the Ph.D. level or completed habilitation procedure, with prospects for research and scientific activity
Creative thinking and ability to work both in a team and systematically
Good communication skills
Ability to teach and publish in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Precision and flexibility
Clean criminal record
Supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses, involvement in research projects and publication activities.

Specialization in analytic philosophy is an advantage (ability to teach courses such as Analytic Philosophy, Ethics in Analytic Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind, or others).

Workload: 50%–100%

Selection procedure information:
The selection process will take place in two rounds. The first round consists of an evaluation of submitted materials (by May 10, 2026), which must be included in the application. The second round may consist of a personal interview with selected candidates. The expected date of interviews is May 2026. All applicants will be informed of the results no later than 10 working days after the selection procedure is completed. Participants are not entitled to reimbursement of any costs incurred during the selection process. The Dean reserves the right to cancel the selection procedure.
