Scientific work in physics of materials, teaching students in programs physics and physics of condensed matter and materials, supervising bachelor and master theses.

The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with methods of microstructure characterization, including scanning electron microscopy, backscattered electron diffraction, and X-ray diffraction. Knowledge of advanced thermal analysis methods, such as DSC, dilatometry, and others. Advanced knowledge of models for simulating material deformation (finite element method, etc.) and phase composition (Calphad etc.). Ph.D. in a relevant field. Professional experience in the field, positive attitude towards teaching, ability to integrate scientific activities, teaching, and student supervision. Regular publication activity in the field. A minimum of 6 months of postdoctoral study abroad is required. The applicant should be able to teach in both Czech and English.

- Materials physics, in particular active knowledge of methods for determining the influence of microstructure on the thermomechanical properties of materials and advanced models for simulation of deformation of materials
