You can unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter and have your personal data removed from the ResearchJobs.cz email database either by an email (to info@martinvita.eu) or by text message to +420 604 619 669.

In the same way, you can also request to modify your personal data.

Processing of personal data and retention period

Personal data (the extent mentioned below) is processed on the basis of consent given by the user by submitting the registration form followed by an email confirmation.

The purpose of the processing of personal data is to send out a newsletter focused on job offers in research, development and innovation and academia in particular, and other relevant information related to HR, personal development, etc. – primarily in the context of research, development and innovation and tertiary education.

Personal data is processed until consent is withdrawn, which is done by unsubscribing from the newsletter (see above). By unsubscribing from the newsletter, the data will also be removed / deleted from our ResearchJobs.cz email database.

Newsletter users have rights guaranteed by the GDPR, including the possibility to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Security, tools used for processing personal data and personal data handling

Email addresses and other personal data provided by users via this form are stored in a database on our servers and other computers – all properly secured with passwords and other relevant means.

We work with personal data primarily in Mailchimp, which we use to send out our newsletter, or in Google’s analytics and mail tools. Again, everything is adequately protected.

The content of the emails sent out as a newsletter may be personalized with respect to the data provided – primarily on the basis of qualification level, research/academic focus, expressed preferences and location.

Relationship with third parties

The data provided is not passed on to third parties.

Scope of the data processed

The personal data processed include:

  • email,
  • current status (academic rank/job title),
  • research field,
  • links to profiles on various portals/services focused on academic and/or research space, researcher identifiers,
  • information on search status and nature of work and regional aspects,
  • information on job ambitions and job-related attitudes,
  • information on the applicant’s selected skills,
  • information on the applicant’s interest in further collaboration.
