If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Qualifications
Completed doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Modern Greek Literature or a field related to Modern Greek Literary Studies Specialization in Modern Greek Literary Studies, Balkan Literary Studies, and Comparative Literature Knowledge of Ancient Greek Ability to teach in Greek and English Ability to teach courses in the entire range of Greek literary tradition (fromt the post-Byzantine to the present) in a comparative context, courses in Classical tradition, as well as interdisciplinary courses Ability to teach Greek as a second language Teaching experience in higher education Strong publication record (books and articles)
