Přehled

Research is focused on materials engineering, with a specialization in the development and optimization of metallic materials and their technological processing for use in extreme conditions, typical of hydrogen energy systems and modern power applications. The key research topics include: Hydrogen embrittlement and its impact on the structural integrity of metallic components, particularly high-pressure vessels used for hydrogen storage and transport, Heat treatment and mechanical strengthening of alloys aimed at enhancing resistance to hydrogen-induced degradation, Forming technologies and their influence on the microstructure and resulting mechanical properties of materials, Development of surface treatments and internal protective coatings for pressure vessels, aimed at reducing hydrogen permeability and increasing safety and service life.
