We are the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings at the Czech Technical University in Prague, based in Buštěhrad near Kladno. We connect science with the commercial sphere and bring new solutions to the market that help our users stay one step ahead in technology. Our passion is buildings, cities, energy, the environment, innovation and sustainability. We focus on applied research and development within grant projects and contractual orders for companies.

We are looking for a new member to join our team, which works with industry to develop new sensors and control systems for buildings.

What can you expect?

  • • Creative work in the field of modern IoT technologies and monitoring in practice
    • Diverse activities in the design of complex monitoring and data processing systems
    • Designing the architecture of sensor systems and communication technologies
    • Searching for new topics and preparing grant applications

    • Participation in projects for the development and application of new IoT technologies and monitoring systems
    • Design of HW and embedded SW (PCB Layout, C/C++)
    • Creation of algorithms for data evaluation and control – deployment of AI tools

What do we expect?

  • University degree in a technical field
  • Also open to graduated or final-year university students
  • Basic knowledge of digital and analogue electronics
  • Experience with electronics design and microcontroller programming
  • Experience with AI is an advantage
  • Mechanical dexterity
  • Ability to write professionally, good communication skills and an independent approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of English – written and spoken
  • Experience with research/innovation projects
  • Willingness to learn project management (experience with project management is an advantage)
