Call for Applicants: Postdoctoral Fellowships at Charles University, Czech Republic 
Are you an early-career researcher looking to advance your career in a dynamic and internationally connected environment? The CHARLESTON Programme at Charles University, co-funded by the European Commission’s MSCA COFUND initiative (Horizon Europe), is now accepting applications for postdoctoral fellowships. 

Why CHARLESTON?

Who Can Apply? 

The CHARLESTON programme is open to postdoctoral researchers who:

  • Hold a Ph.D. degree obtained no more than 8 years ago (exceptions apply, e.g., for parental leave).
  • Have not resided in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months within the past 36 months (mobility rule).
  • Are not employees of Charles University at the time of application.
  • Wish to conduct research at any faculty or unit of Charles University.
  • Charles University is committed to fostering gender equality in research and encourages women to apply.
  • Scientists at risk are encouraged to apply.
