What will your job involve

  • preparation of publications or other scientific and research outputs
  • active participation in existing research projects and contracts in cooperation with commercial and academic partners
  • experimental work in the field of organic and inorganic chemistry – preparation and chemical modification of (nano)materials, polymers, conducting laboratory experiments and evaluating results
  • processing of research results into professional publications, reports, and other scientific and research outputs
  • active search for grant opportunities and preparation of national and international research projects
  • Communication with partners and ensuring the implementation of projects and orders in the required quality and deadlines

What we require and expect

  • Completed doctoral studies (Ph.D., CSc., or equivalent) in the field of organic, materials, or polymer chemistry
  • Active publishing or other scientific and research outputs, experience with project activities
  • Relevant experience in a chemical laboratory according to the job description and knowledge of laboratory techniques
  • knowledge of characterization techniques (NMR, IR) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Czech language at least at the C1 level and knowledge of English for daily work with technical texts and preparation of publications
  • independence, diligence, and a results-oriented approach
